Common Hip ProblemsThe two most common problems we see at the hip which can be addressed with injection therapy are hip bursitis or greater trochanteric pain syndrome and hip joint osteoarthritis (OA).
Hip bursitis causes pain on the outside of the hip when walking whereas hip arthritis often also causes groin pain. Both conditions can limit walking, stair climbing and lying on the affected side. people with hip OA can also struggle to put shoes and socks on. At Physioimpulse our team of expert therapists specialise in hip pain assessments and can identify the cause of your pain to provide a rehabilitation plan. Hip Injections also help 'lubricate the area and relieve pain making it easier to carry our your exercises and day to day tasks |
Hip Injection Therapy in BathAt Physioimpulse we provide therapeutic injections in conjunction with Physiotherapy treatment to optimise recovery from injury and reduce pain in conditions such as hip bursitis and Hip arthritis.
Injections are performed by our Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist Matt Shepherd who has undertaken extensive Post Graduate training in order to carry out injections at our Bath injection Clinics. So glad I found Matt to help with my knees. I have arthritis in both knees after having a number of arthroscopies and was written off as needing knee replacements. Matt listened to all my concerns, was honest and gave me some great advice on rehab to carry out after the injections which gave me fantastic relief from my pain for 9 months.
