Bath Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a model of health care primarily used for the support of musculoskeletal health. Although often thought of as an “alternative” to medical care, Osteopaths are increasingly employed, and referred to by the NHS for patients in pain as they are specialists in dealing with chronic pain and musculoskeletal health.

With regulated continued professional development, Osteopaths are up to date with current evidence and are trained to use skilled observation and a thorough understanding of interacting body systems to support your individual health goals.  Our Bath Osteopaths employ a wide range of hands on techniques including  joint manipulations or 'adjustments' often combined with rehab exercise to help reduce pain, improve function or recovery from an injury.

Bath Osteopath Treatments

  • Joint Manipulation -  Joint mobilisations and adjustments are used to loosen stiff joints restoring normal movement and relieving discomfort.
  • Muscular Release - Massage, myofascial release and muscle energy techniques are used to release tension and allow soft tissue to heal optimally.
  • Taping - Our Osteopaths use a variety of tapes and techniques to offload overworked muscles and stabilise injured joints.
  • Rehabilitation - In addition to the treatments above, our Osteopaths will always provide an exercise plan to help you manage you condition and return to normal daily activity.

Whatever your needs at Physioimpulse we will devise a treatment programme tailor made to maximise your recovery.

'Physio Impulse has changed my life, I can't recommend them highly enough.  I was treated by Renu whose patience and careful explanations and well thought out individual work plan for my issues has helped to transform my daily life reducing my pain and improving issues that I've had most of my life.  As long as you follow the exercise plan and ask those questions that you might think are too small or silly then I guarantee you will feel the benefit.  Renu never made me feel silly (and I asked lots of questions) and understood that some weeks I was better than others and always listened carefully to my feedback to make sure we were on track.  If you have any concerns that you think physio might help with I would recommend the thorough Physio Impulse assessment as your starting point.'
