Bike FitThere is often some confusion between the terms bike ‘sizing’ and bike ‘fitting’. Perhaps even before this it is important to have selected the right type of bike for your needs as there are now a bewildering array from road, mountain, gravel, cross, hybrid, triathlon etc. So, once you know what you are looking for your bike shop should be able to find the right size frame for you based on some simple measurements of your height or leg inseam. More often than not this gets you a bike that is in the right ball-park. However, once you have this bike it still has a very wide range of adjustments available and it is getting these working perfectly for you where bike fitting comes in.

Most cycling injuries that we see in clinic will be from overuse-type issues. These problems tend to come on gradually and we often don’t notice them straight away. Jasper is amazing, he has treated my neck and back pain and also carried out a comprehensive bike fit to ensure my issues don't return. So glad I found him!
I went for a bike fit as I was having some minor knee pain but also wanted to improve my technique as well as position on the bike. The service was extremely thorough and gave some excellent advice as well as drastically changing my position on the bike. I have been for a couple of rides since and the difference is amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve their cycling ability.
