A unique one day course exploring the integration of Myofascial Release and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET's) with Yoga poses (Asanas). Following an introduction to Myofascial release, 'Anatomy Trains' and a review of current Manual therapy techniques, we will discuss how yoga postures can be effortlessly integrated into clinical practice to maximise patient outcomes. Practical sessions learning to apply facilitatory manual therapy techniques in progressive postures/positions will enable participants to utilise these two harmonious concepts to optimise therapeutic benefits of treatment. Reference will be made to Myers' Anatomy Trains' concepts throughout the day as they complement yoga theory so well. The course is suitable for those new to both Yoga and Myofascial release/MET's or practitioners with experience of either of the skills who would like to explore the concepts further.
