What is Shoulder Impingement? You may have been diagnosed with shoulder impingement or Rotator cuff tears but what exactly is this injury? The rotator cuff is made up of 4 muscles which essentially help to centre the ball (humeral head) in the socket (glenoid) at the shoulder joint. Tears, under activity or overactivity in any or all of these muscles can lead to "impingement" pain in the shoulder. People commonly suffer pinching pain with repetitive manual work, reaching and elevating the arms above 90 degrees.

What is Frozen Shoulder?Frozen Shoulder or Adhesive Capsulitis is a condition which causes acute pain in one shoulder joint followed by progressive stiffness. Frozen shoulder tends to present in people in their 50s particularly sufferers of diabetes or hyperthyroidism. There is usually no specific injury with pain coming on gradually, affecting sleep and day to day activities.
Sufferers of Frozen Shoulder usually complain of worsening pain, an inability to lie on the affected shoulder and limitation of movement when reaching. |

So glad I found Matt to help with my knees. I have arthritis in both knees after having a number of arthroscopies and was written off as needing knee replacements. Matt listened to all my concerns, was honest and gave me some great advice on rehab to carry out after the injections which gave me fantastic relief from my pain for 9 months.
